America's most flamboyant warrior may very well be George Custer who died with his men on the stark hills surrounding the Little Big Horn River 140 years ago. May 23:
Depart London Heathrow for Billings, Montana (one internal transfer flight) where you will be greeted at the airport by your USA hosts. Overnight Billings

May 24:
Today head to Yellowstone stopping en route at the Canyon Creek battlefield where the post Custer 7th Cavalry engaged the Nez Perce Indians and Calamity Jane was a nurse. Yellowstone stops include Ft. Yellowstone, Mud Pots and of course "Old Faithful. Overnight near Yellowstone.

May 25:
Yellowstone is one of America's greatest natural parks and you will want to have your cameras out as we spend the morning in the park. This afternoon we will visit the legendary showman Buffalo Bill Cody's world including his museum in Cody, Wyoming. Overnight Cody.

May 26:
We will turn towards the Little Big Horn Campaign today stopping at Medicine Wheel National Historic Site a sacred site for Arapahoe and Crow youth paying tribute to Mother Earth. Indian combat actions will include Sibley's Fight July 7, 1876; Sawyer's Fight August 1865; Connor August 1865; Fort Phil Kearny, the Fetterman Massacre and the fight at Wagon Box. Overnight Sheridan.

May 27:
We open with the site of Crazy Horse's last fight at Wolf Mountain and then spend the remainder of the day at the pristine Rosebud Battlefield site. Overnight Billings.

May 28:
Today we will follow Custer's approach along the Rosebud stopping at both soldier and Sioux/Cheyenne Camps. We will have special access to the sacred and important site known as Deer Medicine Rock. Overnight Billings.

May 29:
Today is spent on the Little Big Horn Battlefield starting with Custer's approach along Reno Creek. Examine the tactics of distracting the Indians with a frontal approach while Custer split his forces and circled around the encampment. We will experience the Reno fight and then follow Custer into his battle and destruction on the ridges and valleys leading to "Last Stand Hill." Overnight Billings.

May 30:
Return flight from Billings (one internal transfer flight).

May 31:
Arrive London Heathrow early morning.
